In Spiritual Warfare,
we must use
Spiritual Weapons.
Let us begin with small tactics, and then let us concentrate on the bigger tactics. Keep in mind that prayer, fasting and almsgiving are three excellent and traditional tactics for everyone to employ,
and there is strength in numbers.
We want to increase
the total number of people
using these tactics!
1. SMALL TACTICS - Sacramentals:
Buy sacramentals; get them blessed by a priest, and use them on your own person (wear blessed medals, crucifixes, and scapulars) and hide them in the posession of others. Then you must say some daily prayers for that person (depending upon which sacramental you employ).
Blessed Holy Water is excellent to sprinkle throughout every room of your house, on your roof, in your basement, at work, in your car, etc. Pray small prayers as the holy water is used, and sprinkle it weekly. Once is not enough!
Hide blessed Miraculous Medals within and around your home and your parish. Tell others (whom you can trust) that blessed medals have been placed, and please join us in praying for our parish to increase in holiness.
The Blessed Virgin Mary is
the most powerful saint in heaven,
and we all need the assistance
and help of our Heavenly Mother! "Ask, and it shall be given you."
(St. Mathew 7: 7) Employ the same tactics
with many blessed
exorcism medals of St. Benedict!
The Agnus Dei Medal (a small heart shaped locket with wax from the paschal candle of the Vatican inside) is especially helpful protection against storms and destructive weather!

When we use a scapular, please realize

2. MEDIUM TACTICS -
Prayer Groups:
Satan hates regular prayer at home,
so make sure that you pray
with and for your family every day!
Morning Offerings,
Guardian Angel Prayer,
The Memorare,
The Angelus,
Mealtime Prayers,
Chaplet of Divine Mercy,
Daily Family Rosary,
Night Time Prayers,
Novenas,
Litanies,
Ejaculations,
The Divine Praises
etc.
Weekly prayer groups that meet at home are a wonderful way to spiritually strengthen every individual involved!
Prayer changes things!
Prayer turns hard hearts
to the Lord!
3. LARGE TACTICS -
Weekly Parish Programs:
We wholeheartedly suggest these four weekly activities to spiritually strengthen every family, every parish, and the Universal Church - SIMULTANEOUSLY! We do not want churches to be locked and empty most of the time. We want all churches to be active centers of Catholic and Christian Family Life.
These suggested activities are large group activities which employ Sacred Tradition, Sacred Scripture and Sacred Magisterial Teaching. This is a very balanced approach that leads to HOLINESS, because it has the firm foundation of enough PRAYER!
1. Sunday Morning Rosaries For Peace - If there is enough time between Masses, announce, "The Rosary For Peace" at about one half hour before Mass. At each decade announce, "Please join us in the Rosary For Peace" and others will join at each decade! This tactic will produce thousands and thousands of additional Rosaries prayed each week!
2. Dogma And Donuts - A Sunday morning After Mass activity which involves some prayer, refreshments and discussions of Catholic Dogma.
3. Theology Tea and Thee - A weeknight or weekend activity that involves some prayer, refreshments and discussions of Catholic Theology. (Do you see the pattern here?)
4. Weekly Family Nights - A weekend activity for the whole family (from great-grandparents to the youngest children). This combines one holy hour of prayer (children and teens take turns leading the decades) refreshments or dinner in the parish hall, and Bible/Catechism Open Book Quiz Games in a competitive game show format.
These tactics will increase holiness in the lives of everyone involved, and they all strengthen the family, the parish and the Universal Church SIMULTANEOUSLY!
Please read the Catechism of the Catholic Church at Paragraph 2744, and use it in this effort. "The Battle Of Prayer" (2725 - 2745) is a beautiful and much needed section of the CCC at this time in Salvation History! THE FAMILY THAT PRAYS TOGETHER

Pope John Paul II realized,
