Dear Fellow Catholics and Christians of Good Will, St. Therese of Lisieux, the Little Flower, is known for her "little way of love". In her childlike way of littleness, of humilty, of imitating Jesus in sacrificial love, St. Therese became very well known through her autobiography titled, THE STORY OF A SOUL. She was recently elevated to the status of "DOCTOR OF THE CHURCH" because of her writings, and her saintly practices of humility, purity and true Christian Charity. One of the most beautiful events in her life is the episode of the unrepentant prisoner about whom Therese learned in the newspapers. When she understood that this man could possibly die in a state of obstinate refusal of repentance, when he could possibly die in a state of final impenitance, and by doing so blaspheme the Holy Ghost, Therese resolved to begin intercessory prayers specifically for this particular unrepentant prisoner. Therese watched the newpaper for any more news of this particalar prisoner, and soon enough, his execution was reported in the paper. As she searched the news article for any sign of hope for his eternal soul, she read that the unrepentant prisoner had expressed his sorrow for what he had done, and that he had kissed the crucifix offered him shortly before he was put to death. Therese took this news account as evidence. Her intercessory prayers on behalf of this particular unrepentant prisoner had been heard on High and answered by Almighty God! This episode in the life of St. Therese, the Little Flower, shows us the power of intercessory prayer!!! When several soul pray for the eternal welfare of another soul, then we, the souls who are now living here on Earth; then we, the Christian Militia; then we, the Church Militant copy her example, and then we begin to practice her "Little Way Of Love"! There is strength in numbers!!! We need to pray for our own family members and one another. We need to pray for priests, and bishops, and cardinals, and the Holy Father, and Ministers and Clergy of all denominations. Many of these leaders do not fully comprehend the "Culture Of Death", and that this death culture is led by Satan and his demons! Many political leaders are also endangering their souls, because they are violating God's Laws in very serious ways, over and over again. Many Leaders are violating the rights of families, and violating the principal of SUBSIDIARITY, and violating the Three Theological Virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity! (1 Cor 13: 13). We need to rescue this terrible situation with prayer, fasting and almsgiving, because nothing else works against this pervasive Demonic Infiltration of Souls. Please visit www.prayforourleaders.com and help us to get the Prayer Crusade underway! A soul is a terrible thing to waste, and every person on Earth has an immortal soul. Prayer or Persecution, the choice is yours. Please choose PRAYER, because it is much easier and safer than fighting and warfare. Warfare is not a Pro-Life Activity!!!
Here are Four Weekly Parish Activities that involve Faith with Food, Fun, Fellowship, and Fortitude. Each of these activities allow us to practice Faith, Hope and Charity (the Three Theological Virtues). Each of these activities will help to defeat the "Culture of Death"! If you have any better ideas, then let us know of them! 1. Sunday Morning Rosaries For Peace - between each of the regularly scheduled Masses on Sunday mornings. Be a Catholic Activist, not a passivist, and ignite the prayers! Be a little Catholic Sparkplug, and lead the Holy Rosary For Peace before one particular Mass every Sunday! This will allow thousands and thousands of additional Holy Rosaries to be prayed each week! (Pope Benedict XVI has recently asked us to pray for peace and pray for the success of the peace talks in Annapolis, Maryland. Let us obey the Vicar of Christ on Earth!!!) 2. Dogma and Donuts - For Sunday Mornings after each Mass. Combine some refreshments with some prayers, and also provide some education and discussion of Catholic Dogma! What a fun concept! 3. Theology Tea and Thee - For Weekday Evenings or weekends. Combine some refreshments with some prayers and also provide some education and discussion of Catholic Theology! This "Theological Brew and You" concept cannot help but succeed! 4. Weekly Family Nights - For the spiritual strengthening of every family member on the weekends of the entire year! This evening activity involves FIRST, one hour of prayer in church, and the children take turns leading the decades of the Holy Rosary (and other holy prayers also. SECOND, Catholic Family Dinner and Fun Refreshments in the parish hall. THIRD, the educational and fun activity of Bible/Catechism Open Book Quiz Games in a competitive Game Show Format. Bring your Bibles and Catechisms, because the answers must be located in the Books to earn credit for your team! Remember, Satan is attacking your family and your Church from within and without. Unite in prayer, and put Satan back in Hell where he belongs! www.prayforourleaders.com Give Baby Jesus the precious gift of your time! Give the gift of childlike, humble, weekly, intercessory PRAYER throughout the entire year! PLEASE, HELP TO ORGANIZE THESE ACTIVITIES IN SOME MANNER, EVEN IF YOU ONLY DISCUSS THEM AND DELEGATE THESE IDEAS TO OTHERS. BE PART OF THE SOLUTION, AND DO NOT CONTINUE TO BE PART OF THE PROBLEM!
DO NOT BE A CHRISTIAN WHO IS ANTI-TRADITION! DO NOT BE AGAINST PRAYING TOGETHER! DO NOT BE AGAINST EATING TOGETHER!
THESE ARE BASIC TRADITIONAL PRACTICES THAT EVERY CHRISTIAN HOME CAN AND SHOULD HONOR! THERE IS TREMENDOUS STRENGTH IN CHRISTIAN UNITY! "UNITE IN PRAYER"!!!
OBEY GOD'S COMMAND: "LOVE YOUR ENEMIES"! (St. Mathew 5: 44)
| | Here is a beautiful picture of "The Little Flower", St. Therese of Lisieux! Her "LITTLE WAY OF LOVE" is what we hope you will follow! St. Therese learned to practice True Christian Charity to every person she met, and to many others that she never met. We can attempt to copy her example, and maybe we too will become great saints! Prayer for our enemies is a sure sign of sanctity. Please help to rescue many souls through the power of intercessory prayer! Organized prayer is more powerful than disorganized prayer!
This photograph of "The Little Flower" demonstrates the devotion that she had to The Child Jesus and The Holy Face left on St. Veronica's veil. St. Veronica and the Veil
St. Veronica (True Icon) was courageous enough to wipe the face of Jesus during THE CARRYING OF THE CROSS.
ARE WE COURAGEOUS ENOUGH TO PRAY THE HEALING ROSARY WITH OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN EVERY DAY AT HOME AND EVERY WEEK AT CHURCH?
SUNDAY MORNING ROSARIES FOR PEACE?
"IT IS CONSUMMATED" (St. John 19: 30)
If Jesus suffered this agony to redeem mankind, "What? Could you not watch one hour with me?" (St. Mathew 26: 40)
Can't we spend one extra holy hour with Jesus, a prisoner of the Tabernacle, in every local parish church every week? Can't we do this with our own children, and give them a good example that they will remember and practice throughout their entire life?
