Most of the Catholic Laity
is very poorly catechised
at this time in Salvation History.
We have discovered
FOUR WEEKLY PROGRAMS
that will fix this problem beautifully:
1. Theology Tea and Thee - For weeknights or weekends, this program is a take-off from Theology on Tap, but there are no negative alcoholic connotations associated with Tea. Many Ladies like to have Tea Parties, and there would be a natural attraction for all mothers and single women to join in a little tea party where theological issues were being taught and discussed. Men will follow the ladies, as you well know! Pray a Holy Rosary first, then get your refreshments of tea, coffee, juice, water and nutricious food. Then it is time for the Theological discussions to begin. Use the Catechism of the

The Official Bible of the Catholic Church

as your guides.
2. Dogma and Donuts - For Sunday mornings after the Mass activity. This uses the same basic idea of prayer first, refreshments, followed by discussions of Dogma. Use the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and this very informative book, Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma (Dr. Ludwig Ott, TAN Publishers, 1-800-437-5876) and the Holy Bible as your guides.
3. Weekly Family Nights - For the weekend evenings of Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. This is the same overall concept of prayer, combined with food and fun, and then we play the Catechism and Bible Open Book Quiz Games. Bring your Bibles and Catechism with you, because the quiz game answers must be located in those holy books to get credit for your team. This is Holy Family Educational Fun!!!
4. SUNDAY MORNING ROSARIES FOR PEACE - Arrive at church one-half hour before Mass begins. Announce "The Rosary For Peace" and begin. At the beginning of each decade, make this little announcement, "Please join us in the Rosary For Peace!" Many others who are arriving for Mass will join you, and as this activity spreads throughout the country, thousands and thousands of additional Holy Rosaries will be prayed! Act like a Catholic Sparkplug and ignite the prayers for peace! Pope Benedict XVI has recently asked us to pray for peace, so let us obey the Vicar of Christ on Earth!
These FOUR WEEKLY PROGRAMS can take place in almost every parish. Start one, or two, or three, or even all four in your parish soon! Think globally and act locally in your own local parish! God's graces and blessings flow when we pray, fast and give alms! Please help us to "Overcome evil by good." (Romans 12: 21)
Intercessory Prayer is not only good; it is so good that it is HOLY! Prayer is PATRIOTIC and COUNTER-CULTURAL!

on any regular basis.
You do not know
to which church
that complete stranger belongs.
if any!
You do not know their moral values, and you let these complete strangers into your living room, into your home, every time you turn on the "Boob Tube"! BE VERY CAREFUL
of the deep psychological damage
that a television program can do
to your mind,
and to the minds of your children! In Apocalypse 13: 14-15 there is "the image of the beast", and the image on the silver movie screen and the image on your television set can very possibly be this image of the beast. "And it was given him (the beast) to give life to the image of the the beast." This image is given "life" because the image has the ability of movement. These moving images of the beast "speak", because movie houses and
television sets have speakers
that transmit sound. Please pray for peace daily
with your children and grandchildren!
