First, there is a difference between Demonic Possession of souls and Demonic Obsession of souls. "DEMONIC POSSESSION is real but rare!" The Roman Catholic Church has certain holy priests who are Exorcists. They employ much holy PRAYER (in the name of Jesus) and FASTING (REMEMBER THIS) in their holy duties of driving out actual demons from certain souls. These poor souls must have been determined, by much careful scrutiny, to be actually possessed by demons. AGAIN, DEMONIC POSSESSION IS REAL BUT RARE!
According to Fr. John Corapi, DEMONIC OBSESSION OF SOULS "IS EVERYWHERE!" (The terms: obsession, oppression, infestation and infiltration of souls, are interchangeable. Demonic Oppression of a soul takes place when that soul commits a serious (mortal) sin and refuses to be repentant and refuses to make amendment of his/her life. This refusal to repent is seriously and gravely sinful and wrong!
In the more serious form of Demonic oppression, the soul keeps on committing the same serious (mortal) sin over and over again. He will commit other sins too, as the soul becomes more and more deeply ensnared and enmeshed in a life of serious sin. Just remember the sinfulness of the prodigal son. He had become a slave to sin (ready to eat the food of SWINE)! (St. Luke 15: 16)
By God's grace, (REMEMBER THIS CONCEPT --- GRACE!!!) the prodigal son "returning to himself" began to remember his father's house. The father is the one who patiently waited (and probably prayed) for the son's return. But the action of the Grace of God to return to himself must have come from some source, some act of charity! Don't you think that the source of that grace may have been the prayers of the father? Read again, slowly and carefully with reverence, the parable of the prodigal son with these thoughts in mind (Gospel of St. Luke 15: 11-32).
Here is how Jesus Christ describes this serious condition of the demonic oppression of the prodigal son, "For this thy brother was dead and is come to life again; he was lost, and is found." Are the words of Jesus enough to convince you, O Christian Soul, who claims to be a follower of Christ??? In Jewish culture, a son never received any inheritance until the father was deceased. By demanding his portion of his father's substance, the prodigal son was saying, in effect, "drop dead, Dad!!!" How does this attitude compare with the Fourth Commandment, "Honor thy father and thy mother."??? Since Jesus Christ describes the sinful prodigal son as spiritually dead, shouldn't we take this very seriously? Can you think of any modern day political leaders who fit this description of the prodigal son? Do you think that any modern day Senators, Governors, Congressmen, Presidents, Supreme Court Justices, Bishops, Priests or Ministers are modern day prodigal sons? Where will they get THE GRACE OF REPENTANCE??? How will these modern day prodigal sons return to themselves and begin to repent of their sins??? If an invading army attacks your country and takes over the town in which you live, they will seize and control city hall (political and taxation control) control the newspapers, radio and televisions stations and phone companies (control of the means of social communication) control the banks and financial institutions (monetary control) control the major businesses including the electric power and water plants (control of the means of production). They will also eventually seize control of the churches and schools!!! (this means spiritual and educational control too). Psychological warfare is interwoven throughout all of this control, and these demonically oppressed souls are "control freaks". Just look at the complicated U.S. Tax Code to see what we mean!
Through the control of the major institutions in your town, the invading army takes general control over the entire population. They do not live in every single house, but they do control the majority of the town's general population by controlling ALL of the major institutions in your town.
This is exactly what has happened to the U.S.A. and many other countries!!! Very sinful people have taken control of all of the major institutions of our cities and towns, and they do not want to give up this control over our lives. They will fight, tooth and nail, to keep this control over us, because they have manipulated a money revenue stream that keeps the money coming to them, and because it greatly benefits them monetarily to maintain this monetary control over us. They always want to spend our tax money for their evil schemes! (This is Liberalism)
It takes the GRACE OF REPENTANCE AND A CHANGE OF HEART for them to return to themselves and begin to return to God, their Heavenly Father. They have forgotten that God owns the entire created universe! They have forgotten that they came into this world with no possessions, and they will also exit without any possessions! They have forgotten "For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his soul?" (St. Mark 8: 36)
Please help them to put their priorities in proper order:
God First
Family Second
Country Third
Myself Last
When you place yourself, your bank account, your power, and your political position first, --- and God last, --- then your priorities are completely upside down; completely reversed; completely opposite of the proper order, and very seriously and mortally sinful, if done with sufficient reflection and full consent of the will! This is nothing less than MODERN DAY IDOL WORSHIP wrapped in modern day packaging! Worship of yourself is always sinful!
Please, rescue these sinners with your prayers, just like the father in the parable of the prodigal son. Try a Novena of 54 or 81 Holy Rosaries! (This many Rosaries in a row is perseverance in prayer! The 54 Day Rosary Novena consists of 27 Rosaries prayed in petition followed by 27 more Rosaries prayed in thanksgiving. 27 is 3 x 3 x 3, or 3 to the third power!
81 is 3 to the fourth power: (3 x 3 x 3 x 3 = 81). Won't you please start praying Holy Rosaries today, and help to obtain the Grace of Repentance for these big sinners!!! Better yet, start a prayer group and get others to join you, because large prayer groups can reach a total of 54 or 81 souls praying the Holy Rosary very quickly!
Moses, in the O. T. Sacred Scriptures of Exodus, is never mentioned to have prayed for the softening of Pharao's heart! He did not ask for it, and he did not get it. Moses did get persecution from Pharao!
In the N. T. Sacred Scriptures, there is no mention that St. John the Baptist ever prayed for the conversion of King Herod's heart. St. John the Baptist did not ask for it, and he did not get it! Instead, St. John the Baptist did get persecuted by King Herod, and eventually, St. John got his head cut off by Herod, the Edomite (who was a descendant of Esau)
